Just like the combatants, the battlefield can have effects applied to it as well. These are divided into 4 categories: Battlefield Changes, Arena Conditions, Weather Conditions and Lighting Levels. When a move changes the flow of the battlefield, it can have some advantageous or disadvantageous effects on the players depending on the condition. These conditions last as long as the battle, or until someone changes it again.
Battlefield Changes: These change the battlefield itself to an entirely different environment.
-Jungle: Grass-element players' Abilities cost 50 EP less to use and their attacks do 50 more damage. Non-Grass-element players' Agility is decreased by 50. Fire-element Abilities do 100 more damage.
-Volcanic: Fire-element players' Abilities cost 50 EP less to use and their attacks do 50 more damage. Non-Fire-element players take 50 damage each turn. Earth-element Abilities will also deal Fire damage.
-Oceanic: Water-element players' Abilities cost 50 EP less to use and their attacks do 50 more damage. Non-Water-element players Abilities' Speed is decreased by 50. Electric-element Abilities will always hit regardless of Agility and do 100 more damage.
-Urban: Steel-element players' Abilities cost 50 EP less to use and their attacks do 50 more damage. Wind and Light element Abilities do 50 less damage.
-Mountainous: Earth-element players' Abilities cost 50 EP less to use and their attacks do 50 more damage. Wind-element Abilities do 100 more damage. Electric-element Abilities do 50 less damage.

Arena Conditions: These apply a sort of aura around the battlefield that causes stat changes depending on the condition.
-Electrified: Electric-element Abilities cost 50 EP less to use and do 50 more damage. When this effect is applied, non-Electric-element players are stunned for 1 turn. Earth-element players are unaffected by this arena condition.
