Name: Your character's name goes here. You cannot have the same name as a character that has already been created.
Avatar: Your character's Avatar Species. This must be listed in order to determine species perks, Skills and extra effects.
Element: Your character's elemental attribute. Each Half-blood is affiliated with one of the 16 different elements. You cannot choose Mystic or Malefic as a natural element.
Paragon Affiliation: In the box beside this category, place the name of the original Paragon you are affiliated with. Your Paragon Affiliation affects the stat growth of your character depending on the Paragon you are affiliated with.
-Rana: +20 to Magic, +20 to HP (per level)
-Ocelius: +20 to Strength, +10 to Structure (per level)
-Cyrus: +20 to Resistance, +10 to Agility (per level)
-Shinobu: +20 to Agility, +10 to Magic (per level)
Ascension LV: In the box next to this category, put your current Ascension LV. All players start at LV. 1 upon joining and creating a valid character.
Ascension Progress: In the box next to this category, put the Ascension progress of your character. Ascension Progress measures the amount of XP your character has gained. When your Ascension Progress reaches 100%, your character levels up. (see Tutorial: XP System and Ascension)
Stats: This area of the character data form is where your character's stats go. These are divided into 6 areas:
-Strength: Your overall physical attack. Affects the damage dealt by your own Physical abilities.
-Structure: Your overall physical defense. Affects the damage you take from your opponent's Physical abilities.
-Agility: Your character's overall speed and accuracy. Affects whether your attacks will meet their mark and whether you can dodge enemy fire.
-Magic: Your character's overall magical strength. Affects the damage your own Special abilities deal.
-Resistance: Your character's overall defense against magic. Affects the damage you take form your opponent's Special abilities.
-HP: Your character's overall vitality. If this reaches zero, your character is defeated, or dead depending on the scenario.
You have 1,000 points to put towards stats when creating your character. Before you put the stats down, add or subtract the stat boosts and faults of your Avatar's respective species perk. When you receive and equip a weapon, shield or any other equipment, add its boosts and faults (if the faults apply) to the side, i.e. Strength: 230+200.
Species Perk: This area is where you list the name, boosts and faults of your Avatar's respective Species Perk. In the box next to this category, put down the name of your Avatar's perk, and put the boosts and faults in their respective areas.
Height: Put your character's height here. Just be prepared for Bronixus to crack height jokes if you're below 5 feet.
Weight: Put your character's weight here. Don't worry, we don't hate on the obese.
Gender: Put your character's gender here. Even if you don't know it.
Age: We know it's not polite to ask a lady her age, but go ahead and put it here.
Forme: In the box next to this category, put the body forme of your character's Avatar here, i.e. Anthropomorphic (humanoid), Quadrupedal (four-legged), Serpentine (self-explanatory), etc. Certain Avatars can only possess certain forms, so make sure you check your boundaries. This will dictate the kinds of equipment you can use.
Theme Song: This section is entirely optional, but it IS kinda fun. Think of a theme song for your character, whether it be just your favorite song or if the song just matches your character. Put the artist and name of the song, if you know it.
Once you've filled out all of the areas on the table, you can put descriptions and anything interesting about your character in a section labeled "Physical Description and Interesting Facts". This is optional as well, but it gives us and everyone on the site an idea on what your character is like, so we encourage you to at least put a physical description.
Also, you must have a list of the Abilities, Skills and Avatar Awakenings your character can possess. (see Abilities and Skills Tutorial)
And there you have it! It's not really all that complicated, if you think about it. Just do what you can, and if you have any questions, me, Bronixus, Akiyo and Cylis can surely help.
