"Hnng!"
"Well look who's coming to." Said a fuzzy sounding voice.
"Hmm?" Malus said groggily. Slowly opening his eyes only to see a blurry figure. "Wha?" Malus said incoherently.
"Relax your vision will come back to you. I'm surprised you woke up as early as you did. Usually when I knock people out they're out for weeks, but with you, you only took a few days to recover. I'm more impressed than surprised, both at your early awakening, and when I headbutted you, it actually hurt a little. Which got me thinking you must be made out of something tough like earth, steel, or dragon's hide, but then I took a closer look at you and you look like you're made of a combination of every race and element you might even be made out of stuff even I haven't heard of." As he continued he became more clear and audible. "Quite the interesting bugger aren't you." Bronixus said.
"So am I being praised or interrogated here?" Malus asked sarcastically.
"Well I'll be damned! He talks!" Bronixus replied semi-enthusiastically. "So you're a cocky little bastard." Bronixus replied. "What happened to that smug attitude of yours?" He asked.
"I don't have to say anything to imperial scum like you." Malus replied struggling.
"Don't bother trying to escape, I bound you with metal dragon's hide. Virtually indestructible. Unless you happen to be me." Bronixus said proudly.
(This stuff feels easily breakable and malleable, but I'll play along to see if I can get any information out of him of what's been going on.) "So tell me general..." Malus started.
"General? I haven't been called that for a very long time, I've been out of commission for centuries now." Bronixus interjected.
"Lies, all lies!" Malus said angrily.
"As being former military, it's my job to speak the truth. Look kid I don't know how long you've been in that place, or what you've been told, but a lot has changed since then." Bronixus replied.
"Nothing but fascist lies, war is here." Malus said angrily.
"Well you're not wrong, the fighting has been kept to a minimum for a long time, but now it's picking back up." Bronixus replied.
"So you can speak the truth for being the enemy." Malus said.
"Even the most bitter of enemies can become the closest of friends." Bronixus replied.
"Me and you friends, please, don't make me laugh." Malus scoffed.
"Anyways I'll be back, I'm going to get some food, you don't have to eat if you don't want to. Speaking of which, how do you eat? When I put that armor on you it kinda fused with you, and your helmet doesn't exactly have an opening so you can eat." Bronixus asked.
"I can control bits and pieces to manifest an opening to eat or breathe." Malus replied. Bronixus left the room at that moment. Malus waited a bit to be sure he was gone. He tried to escape, but to no avail, the material binding him was stronger than he thought, he was fatigued and hadn't got his strength back. "Looks like I better get comfortable till either my strength returns, or wait until he returns. Either way I'll be here longer than I want, but the more I learn the better." Malus said. "I wonder when General Jackass will return." Malus said.
Meanwhile...
"So what's the deal with it." A voice asked.
"First off it's a he, second I'm tempted to knock him out again." Bronixus replied.
"How do you know it's a guy." A different voice asked.
"I'll spare you the imagery." Bronixus said.
"What's he like?" The first voice asked.
"Besides being insane and a smart ass, he's just the friendliest person ever." Bronixus replied sarcastically.
"How old do you think he is?" The first voice asked.
"Tough to say. I'd guess around two to four." Bronixus started.
"Hundred?" The first voice interrupted.
"Thousand." Bronixus replied.
"So that means he's Pure-Blood." The first voice said.
"The irony, wonder if he knows." Bronixus said with a smile on his face. "I'll break him the news." Bronixus said.
"No I'll do it. From what you told us he won't believe you, but maybe he'll believe a quote on quote 'fellow Half-Blood'." Said the first voice.
"Whatever you say, I hope you have better luck than me Strato." Bronixus said. Strato went into the room.
